Our Sea busses:
1) M/V Emeraude Express (catamaran) with 250 passengers capacity, it can work at international lines. It has 32 sea miles speed its a luxury sea bus.
2) M/V Prince of Girne (catamaran) with 250 passengers capacity, it has 29-30 sea miles speed. It can work in every kind of weather and is a dual nationality sea bus.
3) M/V Fergün Express III (ex trident 3) (catamaran) with 250 passengers capacity, it has 28-29 sea miles speed. It can work in every kind of weather.
4) M/V Fergün Express (ex heddle) (catamaran) with 180 passengers capacity, it has 22 sea miles speed. It was built in NORWAY at "WESTEMARAN SKIES" This is the first sea bus of Company profile owned.
OUR FERRY BOATS:
1) M/F Güniz, with 460 passengers capacity, 39 vehicles or 13 lorry's capacity ferryboat.
2) M/F Girne, with 431 passengers ,40 vehicles and 10 lorry's capacity ferry boat.
3) M/S Ro-Ro Fatih, with 10 lorry's capacity ship.
4) M/F Canbulat Pasha, with 31 lorry's and 6 vehicles capacity. It is the ferryboat, which we rent. from the North Cyprus government.(ro-ro ship).
Schedule program:
a) Our Ferry Boats:
We make cargo and vehicle transportation between Girne and Taşucu (Turkey) 6 days of week. We can transport cargos and vehicles once we have enough business from Girne Mersin Girne İskenderun and Girne Antalya.
b) Sea Buses:
Between Cyprus and Turkey we make a timetable 12 months a year. The program of Girne Alanya Taşucu Girne goes on as regularly.

Result:

At the last years problems of the world economy influences deeply our young republic. So the private sectors takes their share from this problems. We can explain shortly our problems:

a) 12$ port taxes paid by each passenger from Turkey to Cyprus.

b) 10$ port taxes paid by passengers when entering to Turkey.


c) TRNC Marines operation indexes the marine prices to $ instead of TL.

The problem of our destinations has forced the shipping companies to become more ratable. First of all Fergün Shipping and Akgünler companies decided to join their sea buses and ferry boats under the same roof then they formed AKFER SHIPPING Co at 26/06/02.

Now the aim of the new company is to pass the problems with minimum losses. Company profile's aim is to survive this economic crises to give the best service to our passengers from Cyprus and Turkey and for our ships of North Cyprus to compete with other companies in the Mediterranean area.
